CCPO Lahore warns to seal the banks for poor security

Lahore: CCPO Lahore Capt (R) Muhammad Amin Vance has made it clear to the bank officials that police would shut the bank  that will not adopt proper security measures.

While meeting with security officials of the banks at Punjab Bank’s committee room,CCPO Lahore asked the banks representatives to act upon the security advisory letter of the police in its true letter & spirit to ensure peaceful environment for the customers of the banks. He said every banks’s branch should install close circuit cameras with night vision facility,hiring of security guards with proper firearms at ATM machines,verification of the guards from NADRA and police,to create vantage points with the facility of telephone to make calls on police emergency 15 and an alarm system’s button so in case of emergency police could be informed timely.

The meeting attended by the security officials and zonal heads of Askari Bank,National Bank,Habib Bank,MCB,Allied Bank,Bank Alfalah,City Bank,Faisal Bank,Summit Bank,Soneri Bank,UBL and all other banks.
