Punjab government to undertake grading of restaurants with regard to the standard

Lahore: Punjab government has decided to undertake grading of restaurants with regard to their standard.

The Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif gave approval to this decision under which restaurants will be graded on the basis of standard of food, security, cleanliness, quality of water and other necessary arrangements and stickers of their grade will be displayed outside the restaurants.

The restaurants having highest standard with regard to food and facilities will be given grade-A and B. The managements of the restaurants will be bound to prominently display the sticker of their grade at the main gate of the restaurant which will help the people in the selection of the restaurant on the basis of quality of food and facilities.

Senior Member Special Monitoring Unit Chief Minister’s Office Salman Sufi gave a briefing regarding grading of restaurants.
