MNA Waheed Alam Khan chairs meeting of Dengue Control Committee Nishter Town

Lahore: MNA Waheed Alam Khan while presiding over meeting of Dengue Control Committee Nishter Town, directed the Nishter Town Administration to take action against owners of old tyre shops those are now following the suggestion of entomologists. He directed the Town Administration to sent spray teams and remove debris and wastage from UCs located in rural areas. He said that young people could apprise the masses of precautionary measures against dengue, therefore awareness seminars may be conducted in educational educations.

Waheed Alam Khan said that every person of the society has to play its due role to eliminate dengue virus as the Punjab government is utilizing its all resources for this purpose. He said that campaign against dengue is being succeeded with the cooperation of students, youth, and common citizens. The meeting was informed that awareness campaign against dengue virus has been launched in the town and seminars as well as walks would be conducted in various areas of the town. He directed the town administration to continue the efforts to remove debris and wastage from UCs located in rural areas. He said that every person of the society has to play its due role to eliminate dengue virus as the Punjab government is utilizing its all resources for this purpose. He expressed these views at the meeting at Nishter Town office, Town Administration and people were present on the occasion.
