Lahore: Chief Relief Commissioner Punjab Nadeem Ashraf has said that on the instructions of Punjab government, Board of Revenue has declared 99 villages of district Khushab, for damaging Rabi crops caused by heavy rains and hailstorm in March, as calamity-hit. A notification has been issued in this regard.
According to the notification, Rabi crops in 31 villages of tehsil & district Khushab and 68 villages of tehsil Noorpur have been badly affected by recent torrential rains and hailstorm due to which farmers of these areas have been completed exempted from agriculture income tax and revenue.
