Ch Sarwar encourages women to play role in LG election

Lahore: PTI Punjab Organizer Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar lauded the sacrifices of Pakistan Army for the broad operation against militants and their facilitators. The efforts of Pakistan Army resonate with the wishes of the people, he said. He was of the opinion that corruption and injustice have plagued the country and are our biggest problems but rulers are oblivious of these issues. Only Imran Khan and his team have an agenda to put the country back en route to progress, he remarked.

He was talking to a group of women politicians from PTI including MPA Nosheen Hamid and Musarrat Jamshed Cheema. Each party has been whining about problems faced by country but none was able to eradicate these since creation of Pakistan and has only doubled the issues, he said.

The public offices including police have fallen prey to menace of corrupt practices and people are devoid of justice in our society today, he said. The burden of responsibility lies solely on the shoulders of none but ruling elite.

He praised the efforts of Pakistan Army and its decision to continue operation against militants saying the whole nation stood firm behind  military. Only peace can guarantee our economic, social and political progress and foreign investments, he said.

He encouraged women wing of PTI to play its role in strengthening the party at local level and for preparation of local government elections. He said PTI was the only party which can safeguard the rights of women and resolve their problems.
