Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of Unit Commander of Pak Army Lt. Col. Aamir and other army officers and jawans as well as other citizens due to falling of the bogies of a train in a canal due to collapsing of the bridge of the railway track near Gujranwala.
The Chief Minister expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and said that he was deeply grieved over the loss precious human lives. Immediately after receiving the news about the accident, the Chief Minister directed concerned authorities to provide best treatment facilities to the injured and accelerate relief activities.
The Chief Minister directed that all out resources should be utilized for relief activities and said that he is personally supervising relief operation.
