Lahore police sent two labourers in jail in a murder case of alive boy

Lahore: It would have been astonishing for the people who do not live in Pakistani Punjab that police could sent innocent people even in a murder case only to resolve the case and to avert show cause notice from the senior officers but the residents of the Shahbaz Sharif administered province Punjab could easily believe on it.

The Lahore Police who’s unlawful practice to settle the cases was an example for the other districts of the Punjab. It had earned a new feather for its crown by sending two labourers in jail in a murder case of a 11 years old alive boy.

The accused could not resist anymore after bearing torture in an illegal custody of the police for three weeks and confessed their crime as per the police desire. They denied the charges framed by the police till they had the courage to bear the inhumane treatment of the police .But later they ready to accept every offence framed by the Investigation Officer” Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali”.Please do not beat more as we ready to say what you want from us,the accused assured the police and were sent to jail for the crime they had never committed.

This case was revealed after around one year when a missing boy Waseem who’s murder case was not only registered but also resolved by the Nawab Town police,come back home by himself.

The boy’s return to home bring happiness for both families as the accused Aslam & Shokat who were in jail and being trialed in the court,could not proved their innocence and have now a ray of hope for justice as the boy was at home now.

Although the mystery of the case has been cleared to everyone but the accused could not be released due to criminal justice system.

The Nawab Town police have said that they were bound to registered the case when the father Muhammad Munir of missing boy given application for the kidnapping.The accused were interrogated who confessed the kidnapping,using the bioy like a woman and his killing,what could we do except to send the accused to jail ? an official questioned the media seeking anonymity.

When CCPO Lahore Capt (R) Muhammad Amin was contacted for comments,he immediately suspended the SI Liaqat for poor investigations.But was it enough remedy for the innocent labourers who are in jail since around one year ?.
