Lahore:PAT chief Allama Dr Tahir ul Qadri claimed that decision about Model Town killing was made in Prime Minister House Islamabad,Police killed the innocent people how can they investigate the matter, we will accept only JIT that would not be under influence of the Sharif Brothers.
He was talking to media at his residence after reaching back to home after 7 month.He called upon the Rangers and their supreme commanders to intervene and provide justice to them.
He said that they do not accept JIT’s status and sanctity. Media personnel were eye-witnesses of the torture and atrocities committed in Model Town, they were our JIT ,he added.
PAT chief said that no joint investigation team was needed to probe Model Town incident,JIT was needed to identify the people who were behind the killing,he maintained.He said that they would cooperate in the matter if fair investigations are conducted.
