Chief Secretary Punjab Khizar Hayat Gondal lays foundation stone of new five-storey building at Civil Secretariat

Lahore: Chief Secretary Punjab Khizar Hayat Gondal, on Friday, laid foundation stone of new five-storey building at Civil Secretariat. The building will be constructed at a cost of Rs 296 million.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary said that keeping in view the needs of departments more such buildings will also be constructed. On request of Punjab Civil Secretariat Employees Association, the Chief Secretary ordered installation of water filtration plants in all blocks of the Secretariat.

Secretary Communication and Workers gave briefing to the Chief Secretary about the project. Those among present were: Additional Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, Information Secretary and other officers.
