Lahore: On the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, treatment of children of Army Public School Peshawar has been started in different hospitals of Lahore and the Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Kh. Salman Rafique personally monitoring all the arrangements.
Kh. Salman Rafique met the parents and children of APS on Tuesday. On this occasion medical superintendent Mayo hospital Dr. Amjad Shahzad was also present. Kh. Salman Rafique informed that children have been divided into different groups according to their disease and the professors and senior doctors of the concerned specialties have been given assignment. He further said that the specialist doctors who have been started treatment of 23 children of APS are included the specialists of ENT, plastic surgery, Peads neurosurgery, orthopedic, psychiatry and physiotherapy.
Kh. Salman Rafique said that incident of APS, Peshawar was a National tragedy and the treatment and rehabilitation of these children is a national responsibility. He said that Punjab government would defiantly full fill its national responsibility by providing best treatment facilities to these children. He said that boarding and lodging facilities are also being provided by the government to the children and their parents, on this occasion, the children and their parents thanked the Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and the Punjab government for providing treatment facilities and the hospitality extended to them. They expressed their satisfaction over the arrangements made by the govt.
