DG Rangers Punjab met the troops at Wagah Sector

Lahore: Director General Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) Major General Umar Farooq Burki, met the troops deployed at forward locations in Wagah Sector.

While talking to the troops at forward locations,Director General appreciated their professional skills and high moral. He said the valiant jawans of Punjab Rangers are performing their duty in different parts of the country in maintenance of permanent peace along with other law enforcement agencies.

DG Punjab Rangers appreciated security enhancement measures taken at Wagah border by Punjab Rangers. Director General said that Rangers has a rich history of bravery and professionalism. He added that, they, as custodians of sacred frontiers are a symbol of national pride and their resilience and resolve against the odds is commendable.

He also appreciated their state of operational preparedness and high morale. The Director General assured that Punjab Rangers will leave no stone unturned towards fulfillment of its sacred responsibility.

Earlier, The Director General Rangers attended a comprehensive briefing by the Sector Commander Sutlej Rangers Brigadier Shoukat Zahoor Abbasi.
