RAW tried to cancel the Zimbabwe Cricket Team Tour to Pakistan: Col Shuja

Lahore: Minister Home Punjab Col Shuja Khanzada has revealed that RAW made an effort to cancel the Zimbabwe Cricket Team tour to Pakistan.

While talking to media at Punjab Assembly,Col(r) Shuja Khanzada said that when Zimbabwe Team was coming to Pakistan and they had reached at Dubai,a sms was received by Zimbabwe Team Official in which the sender asked them not to go to Pakistan as there ISIS was busy slaughtering people.

On investigation,the number found of Delhi.He said that before the visit of Zimbabwean Cricket Team to Pakistan, its manager was sent a message by Indian secret Agency RAW in Dubai that Pakistan is facing terrorism, the tour should be cancelled otherwise be ready to face serious consequences.This message was an effort to destroy International Cricket in Pakistan,he added.

The Home Minister said that when the message received by the manager of Zimbabwean team was tracked, it was found that it had come from New Dehli. He said India wanted that this cricket series should be cancelled so that Pakistan’s image could be tarnished but all out security was assured to the
Zimbabwean cricket team and nefarious designs of India were foiled.

Col.Ret. Shuja Khanzada said that enemies of Pakistan, which is nuclear country, cannot tolerate any healthy activities in Pakistan. Similarly, he said that India and other countries are opposing Pak-China Economic Corridor Project. He said that he is receiving threat from terrorists over implementation of national action plan but he pays no attention. He said that the successful visit of Zimbabwean Cricket team has improved the image of law enforcement agencies.

The Home Minister further said that action will be taken with the help of federal government against the non-government organizations destroying law and order in the country and helping terrorists and all out
cooperation will be extended to the federal government in this regard. He said that forensic labs are being established at divisional level and modern equipment is being provided to law enforcement agencies like developed countries of the world and Inspector General Police Punjab is giving a final shape to the matter.
