Punjab Univeristy observes anti-dengue day

Lahore: On the direction of Punjab Government, Punjab University observed dengue awareness day on Monday and organized anti-dengue walk and other awareness activities.

Punjab University Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ehsan Malik, Registrar Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, Chairman Hall Council Prof Dr Muhammad Akhtar, Director Students Affairs Shahid Mehmood Gul, Chief Medical Officer Dr Nauman Ahmed, Chairman Dengue Research Group Dr Muhammad Saeed Akhter, President Academic Staff Association Prof Dr Hassan Mobeen Alam, Secretary Dr Mahboob Hussain, Resident Officer II Malik Muhammad Zaheer, senior faculty members, students and employees participated in the rally which was taken out from Undergraduate Block to Institute of Education and Research.

The participants were holding play cards and banners regarding dengue awareness while pamphlets were also distributed among the university teachers, students and employees.

Addressing the participants of the rally, Dr Ehsan Malik lauded the efforts of Punjab government for taking steps to eradicate Dengue.
