Lahore: President Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum (PBIF) and former provincial minister Mian Zahid Hussain has lauded the bold statements of political and military leadership in the backdrop of Indian provocation. The rare unity demonstrated by all the circles to the Indian threats has boosted the morale of the nation, he said.
Talking to the business community, he said that India should not make judgement regarding military capability of Pakistan as it can devastate the region as efforts by the government to stabilise economy are unacceptable for New Delhi. He said that statements by the Indian leaders have unmasked their real face who have never accepted Pakistan.
Mian Zahid Hussain said that economic corridor will not only boost economy of Pakistan but also add to its international repute and influence which is unacceptable for belligerent neighbour.Indian plans to ensure hegemony on Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and the most important energy route in the Gulf of Iran have been shattered by the unprecedented cooperation between Pakistan and China on the economic corridor. India is now feeling encircled which her efforts to heavily invest in Iranian port of Chah Bandar to counter Gwadar have been check mated resulting in restless nights for their policymakers.
The veteran business leader said that Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Dhaka was an effort to alienate Pakistan in the Saarc region adding that Modi who was involved in massacre of thousands of Muslims as Chief Minister Gujrat has confessed involvement in terrorism which must be noted by United Nations. India must know that Pakistanis are united and our nuclear bombs as well as missiles are not decoration pieces. He said that India and Pakistan should live peacefully and work for the welfare of masses while resolving Kashmir dispute through talks.
