Chaudhry Arshad Saeed inspects District Jail Sheikhupura

Lahore: Advisor to Chief Minister on Prisons, Chaudhry Arshad Saeed has said that menu of jails of the province will be changed during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak and the prisoners will be served with tea and food at Sehri time and dates and sharbat at Iftari.

During his surprise visit to Sheikhupura Jail, the Advisor said that Superintendent jails have started purchase in this regard. He also inspected visitors shed, filtration plant, vocational training center, barracks and kitchen.

Superintendent informed that agreement with Panther tyre manufacturing company is in final stages which will provide jobs to young prisoners. He directed that special care should be taken of the food of prisoners during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.
