Lahore: PTI chairman’s Imran Khan has appointed former president PTI Punjab Ijaz Ch ,his political advisor.A notification has been issued in this regard.
Meanwhile, the political advisor Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhary said on one hand Pakistan’s economy is struggling and Nawaz regime has failed to meet their own set targets while on the other hand PML-N government by violating the rules has purchased three dozen vehicles for federal ministers and parliamentary secretaries at a cost of Rs 205 million from public money. The so-called public representatives who would be riding on these luxury vehicles have no understanding of the suffering of the poor who got them elected he added. He said these fake mandated public representatives are burning resources of the poor country for their lavishing life styles.
They cannot even see poor people drink milk hence imposed tax on it he added. He said their never-ending lust to extort money from the poor does not end here as they have imposed 5 percent tax on second hand used clothes, he added. How would they feel if they have to survive within 13,000 monthly the minimum wage they have set for labourers he questioned?
PTI leader Yasmin Rashid said unfortunately Pakistan’s ruling elite enjoys more glamorous lifestyle than even royal families of the Middle East. All the expenses of their lavish life style are paid by the poor nation whose 60 percent population is living below the poverty line she added.
She said this shameless ruling elite advocates the issues of poverty and hunger while live a life of complete luxury driving expensive cars and living in their mansions in London and Dubai. She said this Rs205 million from public money has been spend on purchase of vehicles and the poor public has no idea how much would they have to pay from their pockets for the repair and maintenance their luxurious vehicles. Even after imposing all kinds of oppressive taxes, there is enormous increase in fiscal deficit and debts as because of these leakages Sharif Brothers were not able to meet their targets she added.
PTI leader Andleeb Abbas said the current ruling elite has no money for the social sector and public welfare but they do have Rs205 million for their luxurious vehicles and Rs133.9 million budget to meet thecost of repair and maintenance of two VVIP aircrafts. Sharif Brothers always boast about law and constitution and here the lawmakers are bluntly violating the rules and constitution. Sharif Brothers have purchased Land Cruisers and 2,500cc Toyota Vigos for their cronies while 18,00cc is the maximum capacity of a vehicle ministers are allowed to use she added.
Andleeb Abbas said Ishaq Dar’s promises vanishes in thin air as he in his budget speech of 2013 claimed that expenses of Prime Minister House would be curtailed by 45 percent and a cut of 30 percent would apply for all the ministries. During the last two years, PM House expenses increased by over 100 percent she added. She said a poor country couldn’t afford nine-digit budget for Prime Minister house. Budget documents show that Pakistanis spend over Rs 9 million daily on the President and Prime Minister Secretariats/House, Rs 8 million per day on the Senate and National Assembly she added. She said with the deficit of Rs 16.25 trillion such lavishing expenditures are irrational.
