Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of death of two brothers due to firing of police officials in Rawalpindi and sought a report from RPO Rawalpindi.
He also ordered an inquiry into the incident. He directed that action should be taken against the accused under the law. He said that those involved will not escape punishment and justice will be provided to the aggrieved family at any cost.
The Chief Minister expressed sympathies with the family of the deceased brothers and said that he was deeply grieved over the incident.
Meanwhile, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, a case has been registered and an ASI and a constable have been arrested whereas raids are being conducted for the arrest of two other police officials.
