Punjab University donates 800 thousands for the earthquake affectees of Nepal

Lahore: Punjab University Directorate of Students Affairs in collaboration with Nepalese students has delivered a relief cheque worth Rs 8 hundred thousand to Nepalese ambassador for earthquake victims.

In this regard, Director Students Affairs Shahid Mahmood Gul and a delegation of Nepalese PU students called on Nepalese Ambassador in Islamabad during their visit to the embassy.

During the meeting, Mr Gul assured Nepalese ambassador of all-out support for earthquake victims and expressed solidarity with them. Out of 8 lakh rupees, 5 hundred thousand rupees were donated by Punjab University and 3 hundred thousand rupees were collected by Nepalese students.
