IG prisons booked in attempting murder case

Lahore: Rawalpindi Sadr Police have booked IG prisons Mian Farooq Nazir & Superintendent Adiala jail Malik Mushtaq in murder attempt and threats of dire consequences on the orders of justice Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa Islamabad High Court.

The case is registered on the statement of a former clerk Nazim Shah of prisons department who had held press conference against the both officers and revealed their corruption.Nazim Shah was become injured in a murder attempt at Gulshan Iqbal near Adiala Jail.Nazim Shah held responsible the both officers for the attack but police did not lodge FIR against them.
