Lahore: Chaudhary Sarwar talking to a delegation of Cathedral Church led by Airak Masih & John Joseph and to the Kisan representatives has said that the people from every segment of society have started to protest on roads as the rulers have failed to redress their genuine problems.
He added that failed polices of the current government has forced the common man to stage protests to seek justice and save themselves from the exploitation of the ruling elite. He demanded that the government announce compensation to the farmers and also give interest free loans to them. He said that it was unfortunate that the farmer community was protesting on the roads while the rulers were giving lolly pops to them instead of resolving their grievances.He stressed the need to financially empower the farming community of the country for getting prosperity and development. He said that we must represent the farmers’ right on the Assembly floor.
He said that PTI wanted to give rights to the minorities across the country according to the constitution of Pakistan and the commitment of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He said that PTI believed that empowerment of all segments of society including minorities is essential for the stability and sovereignty of the country .Sarwar said that PTI will never leave the minorities alone at any stage.
