Siraj ul Haq Addressed a huge public meeting at Shohada Stadium, Rawalakot

pic ameer jipLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the people who were betraying the Kashmiri freedom fighters had no right to rule Pakistan.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Shohada Stadium, Rawalakot on Monday, he said that Kashmir was the defense line of the country and could not be allowed to remain in the enemy occupation.

Stressing upon the government to review their Kashmir policy, the JI chief said that there was no room in this country for those who were keen to accord Most Favourite Nation status to Indian shedding the blood of the Kashmiris. He demanded of the government to give up hypocrisy and adopt a categorical stance on the issue. The rulers should feel ashamed of making friends with those who were killing Kashmir men and women and children and disgracing the women folk.

He said that every Pakistani youth had the guts to repeat the history of Muhammad Bin Qasim, Salahud Din Ayubi and Mehmd Ghaznvi, but unfortunately the leadership of the country was in the hands of cowards.

He said that the emergence of an honest leadership sincere to the Kashmir cause was essential for the solution of the Kashmir issue, and added that Kashmir could be freed through practical measures and not through mere slogans.

Referring to Indian Premier Modi’s announcement fixing five hundred million for the arrest of  Kashmiri leader Salahud Din, Sirajul Haq made a counter announcement of One billion cash prize for the arrest of Modi. He said that Modi had been playing with the lives of the Indian Muslims and perpetrating untold brutalities on the Kashmiris. He said those who expected any good from Mdi were mistaken.

The JI chief said that the Kashmiris had been offering unmatched sacrifices for the case of Pakistan. He said that Nelson Mandela who spent 27 years in jail for the cause of his people was recognized as a hero not only by his nation but the whole world. However, he said that Syed Ali Gilani had spent all his life in jail for Pakistan, but there was no recognition for his sacrifices.

Sirajul Haq said the Kashmiris were unfurling Pakistani flag and raising Pakistan Zindabad slogans, but the rulers in Islamabad were nullifying their sacrifices.

However, he said time was coming when those talking to friendship with India and trade with that country would be thrown out of the corridors of power by the nation.

The JI chief deplored that even after seven years of the 2008 devastating earthquake, the plight of the quake affected was deplorable. He said that donations amounting to Rs. 550 billion had been received both from abroad and from within the country but nobody knew where all this money had gone. He said the government claimed to have to spent Rs. 200 billion on the rehabilitation of the quake affected people. Even then, the rulers should explain where the remaining amount of Rs. 350 billion had gone. He said he would take up the matter in the Senate.

Sirajul Haq said that the load shedding had become a serious problem. However, he said if the electricity generated from the Mangla Dam was supplied to Kashmir, the energy problem there could be solved. Besides, he said, small power houses could be set up at every kilometer on the Kashmiri rivers  and would help overcome the energy crisis.
