Motorway Police arrest 4 member of a criminal gang

Lahore: The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 (Central) has arrested four member criminals gang, foiled dacoity attempts and recovered illegal arms and ammunition with vehicle.

The NH & MP patrol officers  Rana Tariq Ilyas , Khursheed Ahmed , Muhammad Hassan and Abdul Hameed while on routine patrolling observed suspicious passing by car bearing No AB-4209 , plying with broken number plate .

The Motorway Police official tried to stop the car but driver increased the speed of car and strived to escape.  The Police, however, manage to arrested 04 criminals namely Muhammad Ashraf r/o Kot Nanak Singh Changa Manga , Muhammad Saleem  r/o Kot Nanak Singh Changa Manga , Azhar Ali  r/o Gulshan Basti, Jamber and Sajjad Ahmed r/o Kot Nanak Singh Changa Manga and recovered illegal weapons and car . The criminals in preliminary investigation confessed to be involved in criminals activities on highways .

The arrested criminals & recovered items handed over to local’s police for further investigation.

NH&MP Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig , appreciated the efforts of the officers concerned and advised them to work with the same dedication to maintain the standards set by them.
