Hamza Shahbaz visits Rana Shamshad residence

Lahore: Central leader PML-N Hamza Shahbaz MNA went to the residence of late Member Provincial Assembly Rana Shamshad Ahmed Khan at Kamoke and expressed his deep sense of sorrow and grief with the bereaved family over this tragic incident.

While expressing his condolence over the death of late Rana Shamshad Ahmed Khan, his son and colleague, Hamza Shahbaz prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude. Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal also accompanied him.

Talking on the occasion, Hamza Shahbaz said that this is a tragic incident and highly condemnable act. He said that the accused involved in this incident will soon be taken to task. He said that Chief Minister Punjab has already ordered investigation of the incident and to submit a report.

Hamza Shahbaz paying rich tributes to the political and parliamentary services of Rana Shamshad Ahmed Khan said that the services of the deceased will be remembered for a long time. He said, no doubt, PML-N has been deprived of a sincere leader. Hamza Shahbaz assured that the investigation of the incident will be conducted to every aspect and the culprits will be brought to condign justice.

Members National and Provincial Assembly and a large number of party workers were present on the occasion.
