PTI will give surprise in the upcoming LB elections in Punjab:Chaudhary Sarwar

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Provincial  Organizer Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has said that PTI will give surprise to its rivals in the upcoming local bodies elections in Punjab with the support of the people.
He was talking to the media persons  on the death anniversary of PTI founding member Ahsan Rashid along with Punjab Assembly (PA) members who met him here at the party secretariat on Sunday. PA Opposition Leader Mian Mehmood Ur Rashid and Deputy Opposition Leader Subtain Khan also were present on this occasion.
Chaudhary Sarwar said that PTI was fighting the war against corruption, price hike, poverty and unemployment under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan. He said that the morale of PTI workers is high after party’s victory in Khyber Pakhtunkhaw local bodies election and no one can compete with the spirit of PTI in Punjab elections.
He added that due to the hard work and dedication of PTI workers, party’s popularity was increasing amongst the masses across the province and which in turn will results in votes during elections. He stressed the need to forge unity and eliminate personal differences for the sake of party interest.

During his meeting with Mian Mehmood Ur Rashid and Deputy Opposition Leader Subtain Khan, Chaudhry Sarwar discussed matters relating to the reorganisation of the party at the grass root level and the future strategy.
Chaudhary Sarwar asked the PA members to highlight genuine public issues at the assembly forum and play their due role in providing maximum relief to the masses. He reiterated PTI’s firm resolve to eliminate corruption, lawlessness and poverty from the country following the far sighted vision of Chairman Imran Khan.

During the ceremony on the eve of the death anniversary of  PTI former Punjab President Ahsan Rashid, he paid glowing tributes to the remarkable contribution of the late leader for the cause of party.
He said that the sacrifices rendered by Ahsan Rashid for the party could not be forgotten and PTI has become a popular party in Pakistan due to workers like him.He urged the party workers to forge unity and spread the message of the party at the doorstep of the common man with the aim to defeat the rivals in upcoming elections.
