Shah Mahmood met with Ch Sarwar

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)National Organizer Shah Mahmood Qureshi met with the provincial Organizer for Punjab chapter Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar at the Lahore provincial secretariat today to discuss how to make PTI stronger and more functional.  Both of them agreed that the key objective is to prepare the party for local government elections as well as national elections. Mohammad Sarwar said that the candidates must be selected on merit and the process to select candidates must be transparent across Punjab. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Organizer Punjab Rai Azizullah.  All of them said that the District coordinators across Punjab will be selected with mutual consent and on merit.In another meeting, Mohammad Sarwar said that deep rooted corruption worth Rs 400 billion annually has destroyed the whole system of the country and we need transparent accountability of all the corrupt for sake of a stable Pakistan.  He was talking to a delegation of party leaders comprising Deputy Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Subtain Khan,Major (R) Khalil Ur Rehman and Ch Asghar Warraich here at the provincial secretariat on Friday. Chaudhary Sarwar said that a weak reward and punishment system was promulgated in the country that could not deliver properly and the corrupt elements are rarely caught due to loopholes in the laws.  He said that national institutions including PIA, Pakistan Steel, Water and Power, Sui Gas, Police, Income Tax, Revenue and Railways were professionally ruined over a period of time due to bad governance and corruptrulers. He said that the miseries of people of Pakistan were increasing day by day due to the several crises faced by the country which in turn is a result of malpractice and incapable rulers. He said that the masses were suffering from lawlessness, poverty, power load shedding and price hikes but the ruling elite were enjoying all the luxuries looted from the national wealth – again unfortunate for the masses. He stressed the need to eliminate corruption and malpractice from the whole system of country make Pakistan a welfare state for the common man..He said that PTI after coming into power will introduce a transparent accountability system to punish the criminals fort the sake of bringing prosperity in the country.
