Medical Teachers Association condemns Prof. Dr. Farid A. Khan Chairman Shaikh Zayed Medical complex

Lahore: In emergent General Body Meeting of Medical Teachers Association Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex, Lahore held today at Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex auditorium. Prof. Dr. Ajmal Naqvi President Medical Teachers Association Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex presided over the meeting. All the faculty members were present.

The general body unanimously resolved as under:

1. “The General Body Meeting strongly condemned the undemocratic and rude behavior of Prof. Dr. Farid A. Khan Chairman Shaikh Zayed Medical complex, towards the senior faculty members especially the office bearers of Medical Teachers Association, Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex, Lahore.
2. The General Body unanimously resolved to urge the Chief Minister to intervene and stop the illegal and based on favourtism recruitment of the faculty in Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute and Medical College Lahore.
3. The house unanimously resolved to urge the Government of Punjab to start the promotions of all the doctors which has not occurred since its devolution to the Punjab government (more than 3 years) followed by the new recruitments.
