PMA condemns Punjab Government for recruiting retired doctors

Lahore: The decision of health department of recruiting retired doctors for medical colleges and hospitals instead of promoting the doctors in line is a conspiracy and is an act to award near & dears of health department.

This was observed by office bearers of PMA Lahore in a press statement after a meeting at PMA House Lahore. The meeting was attended by  Dr. Muhammad Tanveer Anwar, Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Nizami, Dr. Shahid Malik, Dr. Izhar Ahmad Ch., Dr. Kamran Saeed, Dr. Tariq Rehmani, Dr. Wajid Ali, Dr. Aleem Nawaz, Dr. Talha Sherwani, Dr. Rana Sohail, Dr. Asma Yasin, Dr.Qazi Yasir, and Dr. Iram Shahzadi.

Office bearers observed that health department has miserably failed in providing promotion to eligible doctors at proper time. To cover this negligent act the bureaucracy is extending wrong and illegal advises to Government. It was further observed that bureaucracy has failed to run health department in amicable fashion and now it is need of our that department be handed over to technical person
