Punjab University wins declamation contest theatre

Lahore: Punjab University students have won team trophy and top positions in declamation contest, theatre while showing outstanding performance in Zestival 2015 organized by Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan.

Students including Salman Alam from Institute of Communication Studies, Hamza Mustafa from University Law College, Mubasher Saeed from College of Pharmacy, Ghuffran Chishti from College of Art & Design, Haris Bhatti from Institute of Communication Studies, Rameesha Khan College of Pharmacy, Subaina Javed Institute of Business Administration and Sibtay Hassan from Institute of Social & Cultural Studies clinched 1^st positions in Photography, Punjabi Debate, Urdu Nazam,Singing, Short Film, Best Actress, Best Theme and Supporting Actor respectively.

Similarly students including Asim Bota from Department of Punjabi, Yasir Rashid from Institute of Communication Studies and Usama Tarar from College of Engineering & Emerging Technology got 2^nd positions in Punjabi Debate, Urdu Ghazal and Bilingual Declamation while a student from University Law College Sibtain Raza grabbed 3^rd  position in English Humors.

Students from different departments including Subaina Javed, Rameesha Khan, Sara Tariq, Usama Ghayyor, Sibtay Hassan, Zain ul Abdeen, Hasnain Jameel, Talha, Khubaib Nazir, Nabeel Manzoor, Salman Alam and Ghuffran Chishti participated in a play which claimed as Best Play.

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated the students for earning fame for the university.
