Shahbaz Sharif gives Mughal emperor like ceremonial appearance to Parliamentarians from Bhakkar

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that due to solid economic policy of Pakistan Muslim League-N government, the national economy is improving and the confidence of foreign investors in the economic policies of the government has enhanced. He said that genuine independence is not possible without economic self-reliance. He said that the strategy adopted by the federal government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for the promotion of investment, economic, trade and industrial activities is yielding positive results.

He was talking to Members Parliament from Bhakkar including Senator Muhammad Zaffarullah Khan Dhandla, Member National Assembly Dr. Afzal Dhandla, Member Provincial Assembly Ghazanfar Abbas Cheena, Amir Anayat Shahani and Inamullah Khan Niazi.

The Chief Minister said that the terrorism and shortage of electricity have caused a big loss to the country and education, health, agriculture, industry and other sectors of life have been badly affected. He said that the government is attaching top priority to resolving energy crisis and all necessary measures are being taken in this regard.

He said that service to the masses and enhancing the living standard of deprived segments of the society is pivot of PML-N government. Shahbaz Sharif said that national resources are being spent honestly only for the welfare and uplift of the masses. He further said that PML-N government is serving the people with sincerity for the last seven years and Daanish schools, Aashiyana housing scheme, Metro bus, educational funds, self-employment scheme and other welfare projects are being implemented successfully and a large number of poor people are benefiting.

He said that out of the investment agreements of 46 billion dollars, signed between China and Pakistan, 20 billion dollars are for the energy projects. He said that the historic economic package of China is of vital importance for the progress and prosperity of the masses and every effort will be made for the execution of the projects under this economic package while the promise of riding Pakistan of terrorism, energy shortage, poverty, unemployment and other issues will be fulfilled at any cost.
