Rana Mashud meets Imam-e-Kaaba Khalid al-Ghamidi

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan has said that the visit of Imam-e-Kaba Dr. Khalid al-Ghamidi is an honour and blessing and he welcomes him from the core of his heart on behalf of himself, government and people of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is like a second home for Saudi people and Saudi Arabia is for the people of Pakistan. He said that there are deep-rooted brotherly, spiritual, religious and friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia which are unprecedented. He said that Saudi Arabia has stood by Pakistan in all phases of its history and generously helped it in the times of floods, earthquakes and natural calamities. No one can harm the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, create differences between them or separate them, he added.

He expressed these views during his meeting with Imam-e-Kaba Dr. Khalid al-Ghamidi at Governor House Murree, today. He said that it is a day of joy and honour for Pakistanis that a great personality like Imam-e-Kaba is present among them. He said that Imam-e-Kaba has come to Pakistan for the first time and it is hoped that he will continue to pay visits to the country. He said that 18 crore people of Pakistan, from Karachi to Peshawar, deeply welcome their distinguished guest. He said that Saudi Arabia is like a second home for Pakistani people and Pakistan is the second home for Saudis. He said that the strong relations between the two countries are not a secret and Saudi Arabia has stood by Pakistan in all times of war and peace. He said that the role played by Saudi Arabia in the economic development of Pakistan cannot be described in words. He said that the strong bond of love and brotherhood that exists between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is unprecedented in the history of the world.

Imam-e-Kaba Dr. Khalid al-Ghamidi said that he has visited different countries of the world but love and affection he had received in Pakistan is unforgettable. He said that he has come to realise the deep love and respect of the Pakistani people for Saudi Arabia and he firmly believes the friendly relations between the two countries will last forever. He said that friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is unprecedented. Pak-Saudi ties are based on love, sincerity and truth and can never be undermined. He said that the enemies know that there is strong bond between the two countries and it is bad news for them. He said that the governments and the people of the two countries should not pay heed to the negative propaganda of enemies. Though Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are two different countries geographically but they are one and the same and this fact is painful to the enemies.
