Hamza Shahbaz dispatches relief goods for rain affected people

MNA HamzaLahore: Central Leader of PML(N) Hamza Shahbaz MNA,  on the direction of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, sent 20 trucks of relief items for thunder storm affected people of Peshawar and adjoining areas from Model Town, today.

Talking to media on the occasion, Hamza Shahbaz said that Punjab like an elder brother shares the grief of their Pakhtoon brethren and standing with them in this difficult hour. He said that Punjab has always promoted national unity and mutual brotherhood by helping other provinces during natural calamities.

Hamza Shahbaz said that Punjab government had sent doctors and nurses for the treatment of 40 lakh displaced people during Sawat operation whereas Punjab government is also constructing a big hospital for the people of Baluchistan.

Replying to the questions of journalists, Hamza Shahbaz said that those staging sit-ins had no time to pay attention to two crore people marooned in flood. He said that these people did politics during flood and added insult to the injuries of affected people. He said that problems cannot be solved through lip service.

Hamza Shahbaz said that the nation is asking from those staging sit-ins why they wasted its seven precious months. He said that judicial commission has been set up but they are not presenting proofs of rigging before the judicial commission. He said that the nation will hold them accountable on their lie and wrong statements.

Replying to another question, Hamza Shahbaz said that PML(N) has won Cantonment Board elections with thumping majority in those constituencies of Lahore, Rawalpindi and Sialkot where PTI had raised hue and cry of rigging. He said that the election results proved that the people doing politics of sit-ins wasted the precious time of the nation.

Hamza Shahbaz said that the government is focusing to the completion of energy projects with the cooperation of China. He said that PML(N) leadership is working round the clock for fulfilling the promises made with the people so that their problems could be resolved. It may be mentioned that 20 trucks carrying relief items worth Rs. two crore will be handed over to the KPK government by the senior officials of PDMA Punjab led by Home Minister Punjab. These relief items included tents, mosquito nets, rice, flour, sugar, ghee, pulses, tea bags, dry foods, mats and food hampers.
