PML-Q will host a grand function in honour of Mushahid Hussain

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has expressed heartfelt happiness over conferment of “Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence Friendship Award” on PML Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed and termed it as reflective of close and deep contacts between PML and China.

Felicitating Mushahid Hussain Sayed on behalf of entire party, he has expressed gratitude to President Xi Chinping, Chinese Govt and the Communist Party for selecting Mushahid Hussain Sayed for this grand Chinese award and said friendship between China and Pakistan is of historical importance and its strength and depth has been proved in every testing time.

He announced that the party will host a grand function in honour of Mushahid Hussain Sayed on being the first recipient of this great award because this honour of our Secretary General is the honour of the entire party.

Ch Shujat Hussain said that the entire nation was happy over the visit of the Chinese President, PML leadership also had heartily welcomed the distinguished guest on this occasion, he and Ch Parvez Elahi put forth suggestions for closer contacts between the two countries particularly the youth which the Chinese President had greatly appreciated. He said they also had appreciated revolutionary steps taken by the Chinese President for elimination of corruption and suggested appointment of special Chinese experts for timely completion of Pakistan and China joint projects, curbing corruption and effective vigilance therein which the distinguished guest had also appreciated.
