MPA Saif ul Malook Khokhar leads a dengue awareness walk in Iqbal Town

Lahore: In order to create awareness among people, Cooperative Department has arranged anti-dengue walk from WAPDA Town Chowk to Iqbal Avenue. Member Provincial Assembly Saif ul Malook Khokhar led the walk. Registrar Cooperative Javed Iqbal Bukhari, District Officer Cooperative Muhammad Iqbal, DDO Farrukh Hayat Pannu, Assistant Commissioner Iqbal Town Ali Shahzad, officers of Health, Labour, Education, LWMC, members of all Cooperative housing societies and a large number of citizens participated the walk. The participants displayed informative banners regarding anti-dengue.

While addressing the participants of walk, MPA Saif ul Malook Khokhar said that every possible steps are being taken to eliminate dengue and due to better strategy of government situation is normal. He said inspections of graveyards, open spaces, schools and play grounds are being carried out on regular basis. Registrar Cooperative Javed Iqbal also addressed the participants. He said that no information has so far been received about dengue larva in the cooperative housing schemes.
