Lahore: Federal Minister for Railways Kh. Saad Rafique called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N government is implementing an effective strategy for coping with the terrorism, poverty and energy crisis. He said that work is continuing on energy projects speedily. He said that generation of electricity will be started from various energy projects by the end of 2017.
The Chief Minister said that a new era of Pak-China friendship will usher in as a result of the visit of Chinese President. He said that the problem of energy shortage will be overcome with the cooperation of friendly country China.
Shahbaz Sharif said that electricity will be available for the industry of the country after the completion of energy projects. He said that implementation on national action plan is yielding positive results for eliminating terrorism.
The Chief Minister said that steps have been taken expeditiously for the implementation of national action plan in Punjab. He said that a solid strategy has been evolved for the promotion of economic, trade and social activities in Punjab.
