Lahore: Former Governor of Punjab and Senior Member Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Ch Muhammad Sarwar said, “Corrupt politicians are constantly plundering the state’s ideology and foundation. The interference of the Government in the Cantonment Board Elections will not be tolerated and it is against the principles democracy. Parties whose foundations revolve around illogical and baseless policies are portraying the role of ‘political villains in our state where the essence of nationalism and patriotism has been forgotten”
The Former Governor asserted that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf will rise above all biases and will soon unveil the tactics being adopted by other political parties to rig the General Elections 2013. In addition, he also expressed his optimism regarding the municipal elections and said that the defeat of corrupt in Pakistan is evident.
While talking to the Women candidates of PTI Cantonment Board Elections, Tanzila Imran, Ghazala Javed, Dr. Anisa and various other delegates, the Former Governor aired his view on the current dysfunctional state of Pakistan. He said; “Pakistan has always been surrounded with the shadow of elite adjustment and plutocracy. Politicians and dictators have supported each others stances at the cost of the nation’s integrity. Our motherland has constantly been experimented with several governments of constitutions all of which have failed to provide an ‘adequate’ & ‘effective’ solution.”
While concluding his statement, Mr. Sarwar vowed that PTI will eradicate element of corruption from the political infrastructure. He stated, “Pakistan needs us. Our nation is in a state of uncertainty where poltical villians have disfigured it’s image as a self-identifying state. Absence of accountability, incompetent judiciary and constitutional supremacy has all real to the birth of corruption and plunder. In these hard times, Pakistanis need to resist this unscrupulous paradigm and unite together to reform Pakistan into a fair, transparent and sovereign country.
