All parties except N-League are going to the Judicial Commission:Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that hopes of entire nation are linked with the Judicial Commission, all parties had said that in 2013 elections rigging was committed and they all have deposited evidence of rigging with the Commission, it will be known now as to who committed rigging and how mandate was stolen, PML will be represented by Dr Khalid Ranjha, we have deposited evidence, we are fully confident that facts will come before the people, all parties except N-League are going to the Judicial Commission.

He said while talking to media after Hamza Nasir Iqbal son of former MNA from Mandi Bahauddin Ch Nasir Iqbal joined PML along with thousands of his supporters at the Muslim League House here today. On this occasion, Ch Mohammad Ashraf Mithu, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan, Mian Imran Masood, Shahid Manzur Gill, Khurrum Munawar Manj, Khadeeja Farooqui, Amna Ulfat, Syeda Majida Zaidi, and other leaders were also present.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that N-League has no foreign policy, if Saudi Arabia was only to be given assurances then why was so big session of the parliament was convened, what has been gained out of hurling turbans in the chowk, Saudi Arabia is the country which has always supported Pakistan in every difficult time, whether it be wars with India, earthquake or flood, thousands of Pakistanis are earning their living there. He said Nawaz Sharif who stated that Pakistan will stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia is now trying to explain to Saudi and UAE officials that they have not been able to fully understand the resolution, if UAE Minister taking pride in Pakistan has expressed his anger then the response given by Pakistan Govt is enough to speak for their wisdom and diplomatic norms. He said the same resolution was presented in the UN Security Council which Saudi Arabia wanted now what is the importance of their resolution,

In response to a question, Ch Parvez Elahi said Iftikhar Chaudhry had no business to address the ROs as the Chief Justice, we had been asking him that he has to give us honest people, the then President had been saying that rigging in the election was committed because of the ROs and the Chief Justice was distributing shields among the ROs, he is the master mind of rigging, we have presented entire evidence before the Judicial Commission.

Replying to another question, he said that the matter of resignations of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) parliamentarians was finished when Ishaq Dar and N-League people pleaded to them and brought them back in the assemblies and then Khawaja Asif paid them “tributes” on this Ch Aitzaz Ahsan rightly said they are elephant of Porus.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that we had earlier stated that they will not be able to manage wheat, because of their wrong policies they have no space to keep stock of new wheat crop due in May, farmers of South Punjab were not getting “bardana”.

Ch Hamza Nasir Iqbal said that he has decided to join PML for a prosperous Punjab due to wisdom of Ch Shujat Hussain and revolutionary services of Ch Parvez Elahi.

Afterwards, on the direction of Ch Parvez Elahi notification was issued about appointment of Syed Mumtaz Shah as President Muslim League district Nankana and Rai Haroon Rashid as Vice-President Punjab.
