Opposition leader unearth the biggest land scam in LDA City scheme

Lahore: Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed has disclosed the biggest land scam in LDA City scheme under the umbrella of federal minister Khawaja Saad rafique.He announced to put the matter in Punjab Assembly and said 4 companies have deprived the people from 16 billions RS till now.

While addressing a press conference in his chamber,Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed said we demand a fair probe in to the matter,it would not happen,PTI will launch a massive campaign.He said innocent people are being befooled in the name of LDA city,millions have been spent on illegal advertisement,Paragone,Urban Developers,Alfalah and Muammar Group are running business with LDA that is state institution.These companies have received 16 billions from the masses but not a single penny was deposited in the account of LDA,he maintained.

The opposition leader said that files of 31 thousands plots are being completed,companies would earn billions of Rs from this project but the land for the scheme yet to buy.This was very unfortunate that Punjab Government is pressurizing the owners of the land to sale the land for acquiring 50 to 60 acres land for this scheme, he added.

The opposition also demanded resign from minister of defence Khawaja Asif for using foul language against the chairman PTI,Imran Khan.

MPA Ijaz Hussain Bokhari,Dr Islah ud Din and Ahmad Khan Bucher were also present on the occasion.
