IGP gives farewell reception to the RPO Gujranwala

Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera hosted a farewell reception in honor of RPO Gujranwala, Syed Dilawar Abbas on completion of his superannuation at Central Police Office Lahore today.

Addl: IGP, Establishment Punjab, Nasim-ul-Zaman, Addl: IGP Operations Punjab, Arif Nawaz, Addl: IGP Training Punjab, Muhammad Usman Khattak, Addl: IGP Investigation Punjab, Tariq Masood Yasin, Addl: IGP PHP, Javaid Islam, Addl: IGP Special Branch, Punjab, Dr. Arif Mushtaq, Addl: IGP Traffic Punjab, Rai Altaf Hussain, CCPO Lahore, Amin Wainse, Addl: IGP CTD Punjab, Rai Muhammad Tahir, Commandant Police Training College, Lahore, Fayyaz Ahmad Dev, DIG Crimes, Ghulam Rasool Zahid, DIG Headquarters Punjab, Farooq Mazhar, DIG Establishment-II, Nawaz Warraich, DIG R&D, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, DIG SPU Muhammad Tahir, DIG Establishment-I, Azhar Hameed Khokhar and other senior police officers of CPO were also present on this occasion.

While speaking on the ceremony, the PPO paid rich tribute to the services rendered by Syed Dilawar Abbas. He said that during his posting tenure he proved himself to be a real professional and a crime fighter.

On this occasion, while sharing their posting experiences with Dilawar Abbas, Addl: IGP Establishment Punajb, Nasim-ul-Zaman, Addl: IGP Investigation Punjab, Tariq Masood Yasin, Addl: IGP PHP, Javed Islam and Addl: IGP Special Branch Punjab, Dr. Arif Mushtaq termed him a true professional and honest officer besides a very good poet.

Later, in his farewell address, Dilawer Abbas said that he is grateful to IGP for appointing him as RPO Gujranwala. He said that he is proud on being his honorable retirement from the department.

15^th Common Police officer was born in 1955 in Faisalabad and got degree in MBA. He joined the police service of Pakistan as ASP in 1987. During his 28 years tenure he served in Islamabad, Larkana, Karachi, Nawab Shah, Dadu, Multan, Faisalabad, Rajanpur and Sahiwal on different position.

IGP traditionally presented souvenir to Syed Dilawar Abbas.
