DG Sports Punjab approves a Sports Stadium in Kotla Arab Ali Khan

Lahore: Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar has approved a 102-kanal Sports Stadium in Kotla Arab Ali Khan, suburban area of district Gujrat. He visited the site of the stadium near Gujrat the other day. DG SBP also visited Gymkhana Gujrat and inspected the site of swimming pool.

DG SBP Usman Anwar, while talking to media on this occasion said the project will be completed with an amount of Rs 70 million. “The construction work on the project will start in near future,” he informed.

He said Punjab govt was focusing on the growth of sports and also utilizing its resources to provide sporting facilities to the talented youth of the province. “The sports stadium in Kotla Arab Ali Khan and Jalapur Jattan are part of govt’s sports promotion policy,” he added.

DG SBP also issued necessary instructions to concerned officials for speedy and standard construction of the project. MNA Ch Abid Raza, Director Sports Afzal Ahmed Bhatti, EDO Finance Ch Asghar, District Sports Officer Nadeem Hussain were also present on this occasion.
