Governance in Punjab is veering away from the principles of law:Former Governor Punjab

Ch Sarwar Pic01 31 March 2015Lahore: Former Governor Punjab and Senior Member Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Muhammad Sarwar said, “The definition of governance in Punjab is veering away from the principles of law and order and constructive policies. Recruitment’s in government institutions are undertaken on political affiliations and not merit.”

While talking to various delegates in his office, Mr. Sarwar stated that the masses are being deprived of all basic rights. “Doctors should be given the rights that are fundamental to their profession. Whilst doctors stage their sit-in protests, the patients in hospitals pay the price of the ineffective service structures in medical institutions. The government should immediately take practical steps before these protests result in any loss of lives and negotiate with the doctors. The State’s constitution and governance has failed to play its role in managing the country’s affairs.”
