JI parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly seeks ban on sale of dog and donkey meat in town

Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Dr Waseem Akhtar has submitted a resolution in the Assembly for banning sale of dog and donkey meat in town.

In the resolution,Dr Waseem stated that profiteers are selling meat of dead animals,dogs and donkeys in Lahore that is a great threat for public health.This subject needs legislation for abandoning the hating business as government action has proved enough to stop this business.
