Shahbaz Sharif visits late Muhammad Naeem’s home

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif went to the house of a youth Hafiz Muhammad Naeem of Kasur who was killed during violence in Youhanabad, today, and condoled with the bereaved family. He expressed his sympathies with the parents and the family of Hafiz Muhammad Naeem and also offered Fateha. He assured that justice will be provided at any cost.

Talking to the elderly parents of Hafiz Muhammad Naeem, the Chief Minister said that the elements which burnt to death human beings in Youhanabad deserve no leniency and this incident of cruelty and barbarity is highly condemnable. He said that Punjab government fully shares the grief of the bereaved family. He said that the case of burning of Hafiz Muhammad Naeeem will be sent to the Anti-Terrorist Court and Punjab government will itself pursue the case. He said that 30 persons nominated in the case have been arrested and the accused will be dealt with an iron hand.

Shahbaz Sharif said that he will personally ensure justice to the affected family and the culprits will be awarded maximum punishment. Talking to the aggrieved family, the Chief Minister said that though he cannot bring Hafiz Muhammad Naeem back but it is his firm assurance that the demands of justice will be fulfilled. He appreciated the family of Hafiz Muhammad Naeem for not taking the law in their own hand and said that by displaying patience and restraint they have proved to be true Pakistanis.

Shahbaz Sharif also gave a cheque for Rs.5 lakh as financial assistance to the heirs of the deceased. The parents of Hafiz Muhammad Naeem thanked the Chief Minister for coming to their house for sharing their grief as well as assuring them of justice. They said that they are sure that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will take the culprits to their logical end.

Member Provincial Assembly Zaeem Hussain Qadri and Inspector General Police also accompanied the Chief Minister.
