Nation is standing with Christian community over this tragic incident:Khanzada

Lahore: Provincial Home Minister, Col. (R) Shuja Khanzada has strongly condemned suicide attack on Christian worship places in Yuhanabad and said that the entire nation is standing with Christian community over this tragic incident. He said that Pakistani nation is determined to eliminate terrorism and terrorists will be chased till the end of every terrorist.

He expressed these views while talking to media-men. The Minister said that terrorists cannot demoralize Pakistani nation through such cowardly acts. He said that there was no intelligence alert regarding such an attack in the provincial metropolis.

Despite this, security was tight and police discharged its responsibilities, he added. He said that the suicide attackers targeted two churches situated at a distance of 50 to 60 yards but could not enter into the churches due to resistance by security officials. He said that the entire nation is standing as a rock-wall in the war against terrorism.

Shuja Khanzada said that the whole nation shares the grief of Christian brethren and investigation has been started into the incident. Persons involved in this conspiracy will soon be taken to their logical end, he added.
