Lahore: Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Dr. Omar Saif has said that PITB is working on an innovative project that will help curb the crime and terroristic activities in the province.
Revealing the details, he said that the Integrated Command, Control and Communication (IC3) System is aimed at proactive, reactive and live video surveillance which will enable to find exact location of incidence and evidence at main public places, main buildings , religious and non religious processions and rallies and centres of crimes in the cities.
Dr. Saif said that it is the first program of its kind in Pakistan that will integrate 32 law enforcing agencies along with Quick Response Force Punjab and Police for quick move to the criminal or terroristic incidents. “PITB will train the police and other concerned personnel to make the project a success. The IC3 is also aimed at providing speedy justice to the citizens by collecting the valid evidence acceptable for law of courts’, he added.
