Registering FIR against supporters of Army is treason: Ijaz Abbasi

Lahore: The business community of Capital city on Wednesday announced unconditional support to Army and establishment of military courts which they said are necessary to ensure peace in the country.

The said that no one can force the business community to change their stance as we feel highly indebted to the guardians of our ideological and geographical frontiers who are laying down their lives for us.

Chairman Coordination FPCCI Malik Sohail Hussain and President of Traders Association Islamabad Ijaz Abbasi said this while speaking at a hurriedly called meeting.

President F-10 Market Tahir Abbasi, President Super Market Sarfaraz Mughal, Chairman Blue Area Malik Sagheer, SVP ICCI Khalid Chaudhry, President Chamber of Small Traders Khalid Mian, President Cottage Industry Salahuddin Awan, President Automobile Association Musharraf Janjua, Ishtiaq Qureshi and others were also present on the occasion.

Malik Sohail and Ijaz Abbasi said that establishment of military courts is internal matter of Pakistan therefore other nations should not interfere in it. They called upon the government to provide all the funds to military so that they can win war against terrorists.

Winning this war requires military courts and support of masses but some elements are busy in conspiracies against them to keep country in chaos, they noted.

Islamabad police has raided and arrested leaders of CDA Labour Union including Ch. Yasin, Raja Shariq and Aurangzeb for carrying out a peaceful rally at D Chowk in favour of Army and military courts which was a conspiracy to distant masses from army.

Registration of FIR against peaceful protestors was nothing short of fulfilling agenda of the enemies of Pakistan therefore interior minister must act to unmask the officials involved in the episode and give them exemplary punishment, they demanded.

The trade leaders said that every patriotic Pakistan has full faith in abilities of COAS Gen. Raheel Sharif and the army and those who are conspiring against army would fail in their motives.

Criticism on Army amounts to destabilising Pakistan which traders would never allow as we can sacrifice our lives for the guardians of our ideological and geographical frontiers which have ensured national unity and stability, said Sohail.

Other business leaders condemned the way in which an FIR has been registered by Islamabad police against the supporters of army terming it a deep rooted conspiracy which should never be allowed to be repeated.
