ECP has joined hands with PML-N to conduct pre-poll rigging: Shireen Mazari

Lahore: Spokesperson for Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf  Dr Shireen Mazari alleged that Election Commission of Pakistan has joined hands with PML-N to conduct pre-poll rigging.We will raise our voice on this issue when we meet with ECP.

While talking to media in Islamabad ,Dr Mazari said that violation of Section 20 is equivalent to pre poll rigging to accommodate PML-N candidates from KP and Sindh into Punjab & Islamabad. As per Section 20, Election Rules Act 1974, votes cannot be changed once election schedule is announced.Election Commission is passing irrelevant orders to ROs and has sent instructions to ignore the procedures,she maintained.

PTI Spokesperson said that PML-N is trying to bring Ch Tanveer in Senate while he is found to be involved in an attack on Supreme Court.To prefer PML-N in senate elections, the election commission is involved in violation of rules.

She said that PTI expresses serious reservations on the conduct of Election Commission regarding Senate elections.
