Motorway Police launches special awareness Campaign against Corruption

Lahore: National Highways & Motorway Police have initiated special awareness campaign against corruption and corrupt practices throughout the country, under the supervision of Zonal Commanders (DIGs).

The country-wide drive aims at creating awareness among the masses against bribery and dishonesty. Pamphlets, hand-bills leaflets and stickers, bearing anti-corruption messages, are being distributed on all toll-plazas of national highways and motorways. Banners having anti-corruptions slogans have been displayed at various points on highways and motorways.

LED screens, installed on toll plazas of motorways, are depicting anti-corruption slides. In the same vein, seminars will be held in different parts of the country very soon to create awareness among the public.

The nation-wide campaign against corruption and corrupt practices is on in collaboration with National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Recently, during a high-level meeting at Islamabad, both organizations agreed to launch a campaign against corrupt practices.
