TRT launches Urdu service for their Pakistani audience

Lahore: Turk Radio and Television TRT is presenting Urdu service for their Pakistani audience and its aim is to highlighting the cooperation in different sectors between Turkey and Pakistan especially Punjab.

Urdu website of Turkey Radio and Television TRT is being introduced especially in Punjab and now people of Punjab will be able to listen and view programmes in Urdu language at www.trt.net.tr/urdu. Translator to Turk Prime Minister Dr. Furqan Hameed in a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has referred to mutual cooperation in different projects started between the two countries especially Punjab, has written that launching of Urdu website of Turk Radio and Television will play an important role in bringing the people of two countries closer and strengthening the friendly views of each other.

Expressing the hope of expected visit of new Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu to Pakistan in near future, he said that the warmness in relations between the two countries due to the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is unprecedented.
