Shahbaz Sharif attends Launching Ceremony of 2015 Pak-China Friendship

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif participated in Launching Ceremony of 2015 Pak-China Friendship Year of Friendly Exchanges at Pak-China Friendship Center Islamabad today.CM Punjab-5

Foreign Minister of China currently on a tour of Pakistan Wang Yi and Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq were the chief guest. Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Ambassador of China in Pakistan Sun Weidong, Members Senate and National Assembly, office-bearers of different organizations of Pak-China friendship and prominent personalities belonging to various walks of life attended the ceremony.

Chinese Foreign Minister, Speaker National Assembly, Chief Minister Punjab, Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and Ambassador of China in Pakistan Sun Weidong formally inaugurated Launching Ceremony of 2015 Pak-China Friendship Year of Friendly Exchanges by pressing a button.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi addressed the function. Talking to media-men, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that everlasting relations of friendship exist between Pakistan and China and a new era of cooperation in all sectors has been started between the two countries.

He said that under the vision of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, both the countries have signed agreements of investment of billions of dollars under Pak-China economic corridor. He said that Pak-China friendship has stood in every hour of trial. Pakistan and China are not only neighbors but both the countries have always adopted a uniform stance over regional and international issues, he added. He said that 2015 will prove to be a new era of Pak-China close cooperation and development in 21st century between the two countries and people of both the countries will benefit from it. He said that friendship and relations will strengthen between the people of two countries.

The Chief Minister said that he was very much pleased to participate in Launching Ceremony of 2015 Pak-China Friendship Year of Friendly Exchanges.
