Punjab government releases salaries of lady health workers up to November 2014

Lahore: Punjab government has released salaries of lady health workers up to November 2014 whereas salary of December will be released within a week.

Additional Director General Health Integrated Mother & Child Health Programme Dr. Ijaz Shaikh told that federal government provides funds for the salaries of lady health workers, however, provincial government does bridge financing for early payment of salaries and avoiding delay. He further told that salaries of lady health workers of 36 districts are paid through NBP branches. He said that the fault in computer system caused delay in payment of salaries, however, now salaries have been released
